Admissions Policy

Children age 3-5 (by September 30) who are potty trained are eligible for admission. No applicant may be excluded solely because of race, color, religion, national origin, or ancestry.

In the event that class size becomes an issue, the following admission priority guidelines will be followed: Parishioners with children currently enrolled in St. Brigid School/Preschool Parishioners who do not currently have children in St. Brigid School/Preschool with priority given to those parishioners with the earliest registration in the parish.

Non-parishioners with children enrolled in St. Brigid School/Preschool with priority given to Catholics from neighboring parishes which do not have a preschool or whose enrollments are full. Non-parishioners who do not have children enrolled in St. Brigid School/ Preschool with preference given to Catholics from neighboring parishes which do not have a preschool or whose enrollments are full. The Principal and/or Pastor may make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis.

A thorough physical exam by a licensed physician and satisfactory immunizations are required and must be provided prior to the date of admission or no later than 30 days after the date of admission and annually from the date of examination thereafter. Lack of the required physical may result in grounds for dismissal.
