The St. Brigid parish and school have excellent reputations with very proud traditions and history of Catholic education and worship. This year St. Brigid School will be celebrating 170 years!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I am passionate about the importance of students\u00a0 participating in the sacraments and experiencing the infusion of the Catholic faith into their entire school day!\u00a0 As a Catholic school leader I am guided by the Archdiocese\u2019s Unified Mission: \u201cVital to the evangelizing and educational mission of the Catholic church, we shall be a Christ-centered community dedicated to faith formation, academic excellence, and individual growth of our students, all rooted in the Gospel message of Jesus.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0My career in Catholic education spans over twenty-eight years. I completed my Masters in Education in 2012 and currently hold an administrator’s license through the Ohio Department of Education.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I\u00a0 have served in positions as a preschool teacher, preschool director, music\/choir teacher, youth minister, coordinator of religious education, kindergarten teacher and assistant principal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I have been extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to work alongside many talented Catholic educators and catechists who have inspired me over the years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

More about Mrs. Ayers<\/b><\/p>\n

I was born and raised in Butler County, Ohio\u00a0 and after graduating from Wilmington College I married my husband, Gregg.\u00a0 We have been married 34 years. We have lived in Michigan, New York, California and Texas before returning to Ohio to raise our three children.\u00a0 I homeschooled my children for several years before enrolling them in Catholic Schools.\u00a0 I have a daughter who is a business owner,\u00a0 married and lives in Ireland, a daughter who is a large animal veterinary surgeon and lives in Oklahoma and a son who is an environmental engineer, married with two children and lives in Vermont.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I spend as much time as I can with my parents who are in their eighties and look forward to visits from my children and grandchildren.\u00a0 Although I find myself completely immersed in Catholic education, I make sure to spend time enjoying my hobbies which include: sewing costumes and bridal gowns, singing classical art songs, writing children\u2019s books, archery, hunting, fishing and a variety of sports.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1486007987080{margin-bottom: 25px !important;padding-top: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;padding-left: 10px !important;background-color: #f8d401 !important;}”]<\/p>\n
