I am truly blessed and thankful to be part of the St. Brigid community.The St. Brigid parish and school have excellent reputations with a rich tradition and deep history of Catholic education, worship and service. This year, St. Brigid School will be celebrating 171 years!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I am honored to serve as the principal of a school within the St. Michael the Archangel Family of Parishes, where our vision is focused on forming disciples who desire to become saints. I am passionate about the importance of students participating in the sacraments and experiencing the infusion of the Catholic faith into their entire school day!<\/span><\/p>\n

As a Catholic school leader, I am guided by the Archdiocese\u2019s Unified Mission:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cVital to the evangelizing and educational mission of the Catholic church, we shall be a Christ-centered community dedicated to faith formation, academic excellence, and individual growth of our students, all rooted in the Gospel message of Jesus.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

My career in Catholic education spans twenty-nine years. I completed my Master\u2019s in Education in 2012 and currently hold an administrator\u2019s license through the Ohio Department of Education. Continuous learning is deeply important to me, and I am currently working toward a second Master\u2019s degree at Xavier University, which I anticipate completing in the summer of 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the years, I have served as a preschool teacher, preschool director, music\/choir teacher, youth minister, coordinator of religious education, kindergarten teacher, assistant principal and principal. I have been extremely blessed to work alongside so many talented Catholic educators and catechists who have inspired me along my journey.<\/span><\/p>\n

More about Mrs. Ayers<\/span><\/h3>\n

I was born and raised in Butler County, Ohio. After graduating from Wilmington College, I married my husband, Gregg. We have been married for 35 years. We have lived in Michigan, New York, California, and Texas before returning to Ohio to raise our three children and be closer to family. I homeschooled my children for several years before enrolling them in Catholic schools.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, our family spans near and far. My eldest daughter is a business owner who is married and living in Ireland, my second daughter is a large animal veterinary surgeon living in North Carolina, and my son is an environmental engineer, married with three children, and living in Vermont. I spend as much time as I can with my parents, who are in their late eighties, and always look forward to visits with children and grandchildren.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Although I find myself completely immersed in Catholic education, I make sure to spend time enjoying my hobbies, which include sewing costumes and bridal gowns, singing classical art songs, writing children\u2019s books, archery, hunting, fishing, and a variety of sports. When I can fit it into my summer schedule, I also cherish the opportunity to go on mission trips.<\/span><\/p>\n
