Mrs. Hadley Gammie – Music<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”left” color=”#eeee22″ thickness=”3″ width=”35″ up=”15″ down=”15″][vc_column_text]I\u2019m thrilled to be back at St. Brigid as the music teacher!<\/span><\/p>\n

I graduated from the University of Dayton in 2017 with a degree in Music Education, and began my teaching career at Xenia High School, where I taught choir, theater, and piano. I was also the musical director for \u201cBye, Bye, Birdie\u201d. I then I spent four wonderful years at St. Brigid, where I produced the Fall and Spring concerts and directed the 8th grade productions of \u201cPeter Pan\u201d, \u201cThe Baker Street Irregulars\u201d, and \u201cLaw and Order: Fairy Tale Unit\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2023, I made the decision to homeschool my children.\u00a0 While homeschooling, I stayed involved in music education by teaching with <\/span>Music Together<\/span><\/i> and serving as the Enrichment Coordinator for <\/span>Q the Music<\/span><\/i>, an after-school program focused on string instruments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, I am beyond excited to return to St. Brigid as the music teacher this fall. I am committed to creating a positive and engaging environment where students can explore their talents and grow as individuals. In both music and theater, resilience is built through ensemble work, musicality and rhythm, musical performance, character exploration, communication, <\/span>and building their confidence on and off the stage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family and continuing my own musical journey by singing in the Dayton Philharmonic Chorus and occasionally performing in summer community theater musicals such as \u201cThe Sound of Music\u201d and \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
