Girls and Boys Uniforms

K-8

Slacks

All students may wear navy dress slacks, designed and fitting properly at the waist, provided by Schoolbelles: schoolbelles.com or from the uniform department at major stores.

Shorts

All students may wear navy knee-length* walking shorts, designed and fitting properly at the waist.  May be worn throughout the school year, but never on Mass days.

Belts 

Slacks and Shorts to be worn with a plain, navy blue, black, or brown belt at all times.

Sweaters/cardigans/sweatshirts

All may wear white or navy cardigans purchased only from Schoolbelles (Style #’s 1970, 5912) or St. Brigid green sweatshirts purchased through the school.

Leg and foot wear

Socks must be worn and visible at all times.  Only socks with the predominant color being white, navy blue or black may be worn

For girls – leggings or tights are permitted, but they must be completely white, navy blue or black with no lace or other decorations.  Leggings must be full length (no capri length). Girls’ knee socks must be completely white, navy blue, or black.

School uniforms (skirts, jumpers, shirts, shorts & pants) to be ordered from Schoolbelles: schoolbelles.com.   Polo shirts, oxford cloth shirts, leggings & belts may be ordered through Schoolbelles or purchased elsewhere but shorts and pants should match our uniform shorts and pants from Schoolbelles.

Uniform Exchange

There are gently used uniforms available. Check with the office for details.

Girls K-8

Uniform Jumpers / Skirts

Grades K-4

The knee-length* uniform jumper is worn with a tucked-in, white, polo shirt.

All girls must have a uniform jumper for special days.

Grades 5-8

The knee-length* uniform skirt is worn with a tucked-in white, polo shirt.

All girls must have a uniform skirt for special days.

*Measure the length by kneeling down on the floor.  The distance from the floor to the bottom of the skirt/jumper must be less than 2 inches.

Shirts

A tucked in plain, white, polo shirt may be worn with the uniform slacks, shorts, jumper or skirt.

Boys K-8

Shirts

A tucked in plain, white, polo shirt must be worn with the uniform slacks / shorts and belt as described above.

*Each boy and girl should have a white, buttoned-down, pointed-collared oxford cloth shirt for special occasions or events to be determined.

Physical Education Uniform

The PE uniform for boys and girls consists of:

St. Brigid gym shorts, T-shirt, and optional sweatpants.   Shorts are not required under the sweatpants. Students who wear the sweatpants over the shorts, may remove the sweatpants during PE class.   All PE uniform items must be purchased through the school.  PE Uniforms order

PE shoes

All students must wear traditional style athletic shoes on P.E. days.
