Hello!
I am pleased to introduce myself as Mrs. Goecke, the 1st-grade teacher at St. Brigid. Joining this exceptional community brings me great joy, and I look forward to the opportunity to teach in a Catholic school while sharing my faith and guiding children through their educational journey.
In this role, I aspire to nurture children as disciples, encouraging them to embrace and live out their faith. I strongly believe that when God is at the center of our educational efforts, the classroom transforms into a fruitful environment for growth and discovery. By instilling Christian virtues from an early age, we create a strong foundation for a child’s spiritual development as they grow into adolescence and beyond.
My personal faith journey has been somewhat different from the traditional Catholic experience. Although I was baptized Catholic as a baby, I did not complete my other sacraments and had limited exposure to the Church. It was only when I attended Wright State University that I felt a desire to deepen my relationship with Christ. I began attending mass on campus, which ignited a profound sense of belonging and purpose within me, ultimately leading me to participate in RCIA during my senior year. Through this process, I found my true home in Christ’s Church.
I am genuinely excited about this journey! Together with parents, I will embark on a transformative educational experience that inspires minds, touches hearts, and shapes the future leaders of tomorrow. I am grateful for the privilege of guiding children’s educational and spiritual journeys at St. Brigid.
