Mrs. Sandlin has lived in the Dayton area her entire life and currently lives in Xenia. She attended St. Charles, Alter, Northern Kentucky University and the University of Dayton. She graduated from UD with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and is certified to teach K-8. She has been teaching within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati for her entire career, 25 years. Mrs. Sandlin began teaching at Dayton Catholic Elementary School, where she taught a variety of levels, K, 1, 3, and 4. When DCES closed she moved to Mary Queen of Peace/St. Benedict the Moor, where she taught kindergarten for the 8 years. Mrs. Sandlin is excited to begin her eighth year at St. Brigid, switching last year from first grade to fourth grade. Mrs. Sandlin is married and her husband is an airline pilot for US Airways. They have three children: Gabrielle (17), Matthew (15) and Amy Kate (14). All three children attended St. Brigid School, with the two oldest now attending Carroll High School. Mrs. Sandlin enjoys reading, cooking and baking and spending time with her family.
