Adult Faith Formation

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of the Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which the community helps adults to discern the call of the Holy Spirit and respond in faith. Through the RCIA, our faith community welcomes adults to full membership in the Church.

Who is the RCIA process for?
If you are 18 or over and have not been baptized
If you are baptized in another Christian tradition and would like to become a Catholic
If you are a baptized adult Catholic and have not made your First Communion and Confirmation, but would like to do so, please contact the Parish Office.

RCIA sessions begin in early fall and continue through the year, culminating at the Easter Vigil Service on Holy Saturday with the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation. RCIA meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. The entire parish community is welcome to attend.
