OUR MISSION

The mission of St. Brigid’s Fiat 222 youth ministry group is to keep Jesus Christ at the center of the lives of our youth, while also providing an opportunity for fellowship with like-minded peers. The focus is on the student’s relationship with Christ and His Church, as well as fostering that relationship as they make the change from childhood to young adulthood. Programming includes social events and outings, Bible studies and Catechesis, service projects, and general discussions on issues young adults face today and how to handle those as Christians.

This group is currently open to all youth of middle school age (6th-8th grade or approximately ages 11-14) with the possibility of expanding to include groups of different ages in the future. Attendance at meetings is not exclusive to St. Brigid students or parishioners, and any child involved in PSR, St. Paul, St. Augustine, or other local parishes are welcome to attend. There is no obligation to attend every meeting and you are welcome to bring along friends.

The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month September through May at St. Brigid Parish for two hours and snacks and drinks are provided at most meetings. For more information or to be added to the email list, please call the Parish Office at 937-372-3193.
