Sacrament Preparation for Adults

Those adults contemplating Baptism in the Catholic Christian faith should consider the RCIA (Rite of Christian Inititiation for Adults) program at our parish.

The Rite of the Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which the community helps adults to discern the call of the Holy Spirit and respond in faith. Through the RCIA, our faith community welcomes adults to full membership in the Church.

RCIA is for anyone who is 18 or over and has not been baptized or if they are baptized in another Christian tradition and would like to become a Catholic.

If you are a baptized adult Catholic and have not made your First Communion and Confirmation, but would like to do so, you may obtain an initial interview with one of our priests by contacting the parish office.

Sessions begin in early fall and continue through the year, culminating at the Easter Vigil Service on Holy Saturday with the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation.

RCIA meets on Wednesdays in the fall at St. Luke.
